Laerdal BaXstrap Spineboard is a spinal immobilization board for full body length. It is used in combination with other immobilization aids for the neck and head to ensure straight, neutral immobilization and transport of adult and pediatric patients. The product is not made of natural latex and is compatible with X-ray, CT, and MRI.
Use is indicated for patients with known or suspected spinal or spinal cord injuries requiring immobilization and transport. It is important to follow local guidelines for patient movement and immobilization techniques.
The product is designed for use and storage within temperatures ranging from -34 °C to +52 °C and humidity levels of 5–95 % RH without condensation. It is not intended as a standalone solution but as part of a comprehensive immobilization technique.
